Every year, on this day, we celebrate the victory of good over evil. But technically, your behaviour should be re-classified from "Evil" to "Slightly Naughty".

I agree you kidnapped the lady in haste. But after that, you gave her more respect than is normally give to women in today's world. You offered her good food, shelter and even women security guards. Even your request for the marriage proposal to Sita was full of humility.

You never threw acids when rejected or did any emotional drama. Even when Ram killed you, you were humble enough to seek his apologies. And I believe you were more Educated than half of our Society is. 

Trust me Raavan, there are no any hard feelings for you, to burn you, just that it's the In-Thing, and should be changed. Respect.!!

Dear Whosoever You Are

Being in love is the greatest of all feelings. When we fall in love, life becomes paradise, everything seems beautiful, life becomes livelier, and we become the best we can be.

Don't fall in love with someone who wants to know your favourite color and just how you like your coffee.

Fall in love with someone who loves the way you laugh and would do absolutely anything to hear you laugh. Fall in love with someone who puts their head on your chest, just to hear your heart beat. Fall in love with someone who loves to lay their head in your lap, as they find it heavenly.

Fall in love with someone who kisses you and hugs you in public, and is proud to show you off to anyone they know. Fall in love with someone who likes it more than anything else to hold your hand in theirs. Fall in love with someone who makes you question, why you were afraid to fall in love in first place.

Fall in love with someone who would never ever want to hurt you. Fall in love with someone who falls in love with your flaws and thinks you are perfect just the way you are. Fall in love with someone who thinks you are the ONE they would love to wake up to every morning and sleep with every night.

God's Plan

Once upon a time, on a mountain top, three little trees stood and dreamed of what they wanted to become when they grew up.

The first little tree looked up at the stars and said, 'I want to hold treasure, I want to be covered with gold and filled with precious stones. One day I will be the most beautiful treasure chest in the entire world!'

The second little tree looked out at small stream trickling by on its way to the ocean and said, 'I want to be travelling mighty waters and carrying powerful kings. One day I will be the strongest ship in the world!'

The third little tree looked down into the valley below, where busy men and women worked in a busy town. She confessed, 'I don't want to leave the mountain top at all. I want to grow so tall that when people stop to look at me they will raise their eyes to the Heaven and think of God. I want to be the tallest tree in the world!'

Years passed, the rain came, the sun shone, and the little trees grew tall. One day three wood cutters climbed down the mountain. The first wood cutter looked at the first tree and said, 'This tree is beautiful. It is perfect for me.' A swoop of the shiny ax, and the first tree fell. 'Now I shall be made into a beautiful chest, I shall hold wonderful treasure!', the first tree said.

The second wood cutter looked at the second tree and said, 'This tree is strong. It is perfect for me.' A swoop of the shining ax, and the second tree fell. 'Now I shall sail mighty waters!', thought the second tree, 'I shall be a strong ship for mighty kings!'

The third tree felt her heart sink when the last wood cutter looked her way. She stood straight and tall and pointed bravely to heaven. But the second wood cutter looked up, 'Any kind of tree will do for me.', he muttered. A swoop of the shining ax, and the third tree fell.

The first tree rejoiced when the wood cutter brought her to a carpenter's shop. But her happiness was short lived, as the carpenter fashioned the tree into a feed box for animals. The once beautiful tree was not covered with gold, nor filled with treasure. She was coated with saw dust and filled with hay for farm animals.

The second tree smiled when the wood cutter took her to a shipyard. But no mighty ship was made that day. Instead the once strong tree was hammered and sawed into a simple fishing boat. She was too small and too weak to sail to an ocean, or even river. Instead she was taken to a little lake.

The third tree was confused when the wood cutter cut her into strong beams and left her in lumberyard. 'What happened!', the once tall tree wondered. 'All I ever wanted was to stay on the mountain top and point to God.'

Many days and nights passed. The three trees nearly forgot their dreams. But one night, golden starlight poured over the first tree as a young woman placed her new born baby in the feed box. 'I wish I could make a cradle for him.', the husband whispered. The young woman squeezed her husband's hand and smiled as the starlight shone on the smooth and sturdy wood. 'This manger is beautiful.', she said. And suddenly the first tree knew she was holding the greatest treasure in the world.

One evening a tired traveller and his friends crowded into the old fishing boat. The traveller fell asleep as the second tree quietly sailed out into the lake. Soon a thundering and thrashing storm arose. The little boat shuddered, she knew she did not have the strength to carry so many passengers safely through with the wind and the rain. The tired man awakened, he stood up and said, 'PEACE'. The storm stopped as quickly as it had begun. And suddenly the second tree knew she was carrying the king of heaven and earth.

One Friday morning, the third tree was startled when her beam was yanked from the forgotten wood pile. She flinched as she was carried through an angry jeering crowd. She shuddered when soldiers nailed a man's hands to her. She felt ugly and harsh and cruel. But on Sunday morning, when the Sun rose and the Earth trembled with joy beneath her. The third tree knew that God's love had changed everything, it had made the third tree strong. And everytime people thought of the third tree, they would think of God. That was better than being the tallest tree in the world.

So next time you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy because God is thinking of something better to give you.

Memory Tricks

Bygone are the days of 'Susruta'. Now almost all the people are suffering from MEMORY problems. The ratio might be different between different people. Brain cells don't produce other brain cells and thus their death means permanent loss.

So many reasons like digestive disorders, physical weakness, typhoid, continuous stress, any of the chronic diseases, by birth mental defects and less than normal quantity of blood cause brain cell death. Absentmindedness, difficulty to memorize the lessons, forgetting to do the scheduled things, not recognising the known persons are some of the symptoms of this disease. Though brain cells cannot be produced, they can be revived in a certain manner. Here are certain ways and tricks to develop MEMORY and CONCENTRATION power:

• Drink a glass of Beet juice everyday, you can use it as a salad too.
• Bite a sweet apple before meal daily, to sharpen your memory.
• Eat the watermelon seeds with watermelon fruits.
• Use of pepper in food is beneficial to solve the memory problems.
• Boil half a litre of milk with 4-5 leaves of 'Peepal' (Sacred Fig tree). Filter the milk and drink it with some sugar and candy mixed in it daily for a few days.
• Take 25 grams of cream butter (Makkhan), mix some pepper, jiggery, and lick it well.
• Regular use of ripe pumpkins as curry, and daily use of honey to strengthen your brain power.
• Having mixed salad and regular fruit eating habit prevents memory loss.
• Create a habit of eating two walnuts everyday; it is the panacea to increase memory power. But better soak it in water 3-4 hours prior to eating it in hot seasons.
• Continuous use of cashews, peanuts etc work wonder in the field of increasing memory.
• The fluid intake should be sufficient. Insufficient fluid in the body causes memory loss.
• Cultivate the faculty of imagination. Whatever you want to remember, try to visualize it, it will help you to remember and you will enjoy it too.
• Mental stress causes memory loss. So it should be avoided as far as possible, and be removed. The best way to remove stress and increase memory and concentration is MEDITATION. Practice meditation for 10-15 minutes every day.
• Do some exercise daily, so that the lazy body will not effect the mind and you will feel fresh.
• Practice some eye exercises on a daily basis. Specially turning the eyeballs right and left is most effective, after 10-12 times close eyes and do palming.
• Performing pranayamas like Anulom Vilom, Bhramasi and asanas like Ardha Shirshaasan and Sarvangaasan are effective to improve memory and concentration.

Hope, these tricks and tips will do wonders in increasing your memory and concentration power.

Faithful Love

A boy was dating a girl who always hurt him and his feelings. One day, she broke up with him and stormed out of his life, leaving him lonely, heart broken and hopeless.

Seven years later, after many ups and downs in life, the girl had a change of heart. She transformed into a caring person from being arrogant and selfish.

She realized that she really loved that boy, so she went back to him and said, "Give me one more chance. I love you and I need you. I will never hurt you again."

"Only a fool would take back someone who hurts them so very badly" replied the boy genuinely.

The girl felt hopeless and was about to cry, when the boy hugged her tightly and said, "And I guess I am that fool."
